Caring and Learning Development (C&LD), operating as “Little Givers,” is a non-profit organization in Devon Valley. It is a community-based initiative dedicated to dedicated to providing early childhood development and holistic care for children in vulnerable communities. The organisation provides early childhood education, nutrition, and emotional support to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, giving them the foundations they need for a brighter future.
Why this matters
Many children in under-resourced communities face barriers to proper education, healthcare, and social support. CLD addresses these gaps by equipping children with the tools to succeed in school and beyond, while also empowering families and caregivers through support programmes.

What Volunteers Can Do
- Early Childhood Support: Assisting with teaching, play-based learning, and reading activities.
- Nutritional Programmes: Helping with meal preparation and distribution to ensure children receive balanced meals.
- Creative Activities: Leading art, music, and play sessions that encourage creativity and expression.
- Administrative/Logistical Support: Supporting the staff with daily operations and programme coordination.
