Greater Stellenbosch Development Trust
Description
About
The Greater Stellenbosch Development Trust (GSDT) is a public-trust and non-profit that nurtures rights-based, community-led development in Stellenbosch, especially in Kayamandi. Stellenbosch Trust Founded in 2001, it supports programmes across education, arts/culture, enterprise, health, technology, and community welfare to address socio-economic inequalities and build resilient, inclusive communities.
Why this matters
There are deep inequalities in Stellenbosch region in access to quality schooling, economic opportunity, public services, and cultural expression.
