By offering opportunities for engaging in complex and challenging conversation, the ideal is to uncover our vulnerabilities, biases, and open up brave and discomforting spaces for learning and progressing together.
The Transformation Learning Network (TLN) is a series of online sessions hosted by the Centre for the Advancement of Social Impact and Transformation.
The sessions take place at 13:00 until 14:30 on the last Thursdays from February until October. Guest speakers from various sectors of the institution and broader community are invited to present and facilitate discussion on socio-political issues related to the Stellenbosch University community.
The Transformation Learning Network encourages several interactions and engagements during the year, where the desired outcome is bridging the gaps between individuals, environments and communities so that we may be a continuously transforming institution as part of society. By offering opportunities for engaging in complex and challenging conversation, the ideal is to uncover our vulnerabilities, biases, and open up brave and discomforting spaces for learning and progressing together. The Transformation Learning Networks can be a powerful tool in achieving deep learning about our similarities and respect for differences that enable transformation.
